Lending & Editorial Team · JD Credit Pte Ltd

JD Credit is a moneylender licensed by the Ministry of Law, and we've been lending in Singapore since 2010. We help you understand personal loans, debt consolidation and repayment before you borrow. Our guides explain what a loan really costs, what to check in a contract, and how licensed lending works in Singapore, so you can make decisions with confidence. Every guide is reviewed by our lending officers and kept up to date.

We’re here to help you borrow with your eyes open. Our guides explain loans in plain language, so you know what you’re signing up for before you apply.

We work alongside our lending officers, who talk to borrowers every day. We know the questions you’re likely to have and the mistakes that cost people money, like looking only at the monthly instalment, missing the late fee terms, or taking a new loan to pay off an old one. Our guides help you avoid them.

We cover personal loans, debt consolidation, repayment planning, your rights under the Moneylenders Act, and how to check that a lender is licensed. Every guide is checked by our lending team before we publish it and updated when the rules change.

If you have a question about your own situation, our lending team is happy to help. If you spot anything on this site that’s wrong or out of date, email enquiry@jdcredit.com.sg and we’ll fix it.

How this content is produced

Every guide on this site is written against primary sources: the Moneylenders Act and the Moneylenders Rules, Ministry of Law guidance, and JD Credit’s own lending practice. Before a guide is published it is reviewed by JD Credit’s lending team to confirm that what it describes matches how borrowing actually works in a licensed office.

Articles are dated and reviewed when the rules change. We do not publish guaranteed-approval claims, and we do not quote figures we cannot source. If you spot something on this site that is wrong or out of date, write to enquiry@jdcredit.com.sg and we will correct it.
